It is a pleasure to welcome one and all to the official site of Kendriya Vidyalaya, CMM ; its the most reputed educational institutions of the city of marble rocks i.e.Jabalpur.Since its inception in 1982 as a Defence sector vidyalaya affiliated to C.B.S.E,the primary focus has been to serve the citizens of tomorrow i.e.the students selflessly,ignite their minds with positive thoughts and pave the way towards holistic development of their personality. This effort has enabled the vidyalaya to progress steadily in pursuit of academic excellence. The vidyalaya takes pride in the fact that the tradition of nurturing of humanity in its portals has led many young buds to blossom into flowers and spread their fragrance in the society. The vidyalaya family firmly believes that. Whatever we write on the heart of child, No water can wash away. The sand may be shifted when billows are wild and the efforts of time may decay. Some stories may perish, some songs may be forgotten But this graven record time changes it not. A story of gladness or care.That never has blessed or earth defiled Will linger unchangeable there. 

Important milestones of vidyalaya growth ::

1) 1982 – School started functioning in Barracks of CMM.
2) Acres of land given by CMM (AOC).
3) 1987 – Science stream started.
4) 1996 – Foundation stone at Lekhanagar.
5) 2001 - New building inaugurated.

Gradual year wise Expansion ::

1) 1982 – KV CMM,Started functioning classes I – V single section.
2) 1986 - First batch of class IX presented.
3) 1987 – First batch of class X to appear in CBSE Exam one more additional section added I – V
4) 1987 – First batch to go to Class XI science stream.
5) 1988 – 10+2 started.
6) 1989 – First batch of Class XII passed out.
7)2003 – One more section added from I – V.
8)2009 – First batch appeared in Class X with three sections.

In the cluster level Mini Sports under CMP held at KV COD .The primary School children of KV CMM ,Jabalpur bagged in gold medal in football . Silver medal in(80m)(Girls & Boys ) and bronz in skating boys & shuttle race boys and girls. Preeti Pandey XA(Guide) and Vaibhav Gupta XB(Scout) were awarded the Rajya Puraskar certificate on 26th Jan 2012 in during Republic Day Puraskar .They had atted rajya Puraskar Testing Camp held at Gujrat. Lord Stephenson Smith Baden Powell’s birthday was commemorated as Thinking Day at Kendriya Vidyalaya CMM, Jabalpur. The Principal, Mrs. B. Ekka lighted the lamp and garlanded the Portrait of Baden Powell. Vidyalaya Unit of BS & G organized a Hike to CMM, Ridge. The Scout and Guides were taken to AOC, Museum, where they were shown arms and ammunition of many countries including India. The Principal Mrs. B. Ekka distributed sweets among the Scout, Guide, Cubs and Bulbuls. .
